Phoenix police asking for public's help to locate kidnapping victim

PHOENIX - Phoenix police are looking for a teen who was kidnapped Wednesday night.

According to police, Karla Gabriela Lizzaraga-Sanchez was abducted while loading personal belongings into her family's Chevy Trailblazer near 59th Avenue and Van Buren Street at approximately 7 p.m.

Later that evening, her family received ransom calls from the suspects demanding a large sum of money or Lizzaraga-Sanchez would be killed, according to Sgt. Trent Crump.

The suspects last communicated with the family on Saturday.

Investigators have been working leads and believe the kidnappers still have her.

The 2004 Chevy Trailblazer has Arizona license plate ALY9263.
