Dean Fish, UA Ag. Ext. Agent, SCC, says 4-H is the non-formal youth development education program of the United States Department of Agriculture and theUniversity of Arizona. He says whether you live in the city, the suburbs, or on a farm or ranch, you can belong to the 4-H Program. He said the programs are designed to meet the needs and interests of the members, and range from hunting, shooting and rocketry to photography, computers…and raising sheep. Fish says October is “National 4-H Club Month.”
