Dollar General store robbery suspect

Posted: Updated:

The Tucson Police Department is asking for help locating a suspect in a Dollar General store robbery.

On July 10 at 155 W. Valencia a male suspect walked into the Dollar General store carrying a black computer bag. He asked the cashier if he could talk with someone in charge and demanded the manager to open the safe, which is time delayed. The suspect became irritated about the delay and threatened the manager saying, "We both know what's inside the bag." He then demanded the money from the register instead. The suspect took the money and left very calmly heading across the street into an apartment complex.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, early 20's, light complexion, clean-shaven with acne scarred around the face. He's about 5'4" - 5'5" tall with a "chunky" build, and possibly bald.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, holding a black leather briefcase bag with a zipper on the top and wearing a blue bandanna.

If you have any information on who he may be please call 911 or the Tucson Police Department.
