Brewer chooses Tucson over border conference

With just six weeks to go until the general election, pretty much everything in government is politics. That's the case with why Arizona Governor Jan Brewer was in Tucson Tuesday instead of Santa Fe, where border governors were meeting.

Governor Brewer doesn't believe in boycotts. That's quite clear.

"I'm opposed to boycotting. Any body anyplace, any person," said Governor Jan Brewer.

But maybe not any event.

The governor chose to boycott the border governor's conference. While they gathered in Santa Fe, she was in Tucson at the American Red Cross.
