Finding time to entertain a young and rambunctious Pointer mix became difficult for Murphy’s extremely busy owners and eventually they decided to bring Murphy to the shelter where he could find a very active family.

This spotted one-year-old is vibrant and frivolous and Murphy has an unlimited amount of energy to burn. Playing fetch, chewing on stuffed toys, and joining in on a game of tag with other dogs at the dog park are just a few of the many pastimes he enjoys.

Murphy is undoubtedly enthusiastic and he hopes to spend the rest of his life trotting along side of a true athlete who can put this pup’s energy to good use.

Murphy is already housetrained and being the clever canine that he is, he has a firm grip on all of the basic command such as “sit” and “down.”

Some dogs and/or children may find Murphy to be too boisterous and a family introduction is required to ensure a good match.

He is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. He is a member of our Lonely Heart’s club, and his adoption fee has been reduced to just $35. This adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash set with an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam.
