Steve Nash: "Into the Wind"Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- "Into the Wind" is a documentary about one athlete produced by another athlete.
In 1980, Terry Fox, who had lost his right leg to bone cancer, set out on an amazing journey to raise money and awareness for cancer research. He goal was to run across Canada. It was called the Marathon of Hope.
While Fox was anonymous at first, he quickly captured the hearts of an entire nation, including a young Canadian athlete who would go on to become an two-time NBA All-Star.
Steve Nash decided he had to tell Fox's story of perseverance and hope.
The basketball star turned filmmaker sat down with Tara Hitchcock to talk about the "Into the Wind," which debuted last week at the Toronto Film Festival.
