PHOENIX -- A life full of struggles did not stop one Valley teen from giving up. Ramona Dixon's determination and the help of the Boys and Girls Club gave her a fighting chance to make it in the real world.
Dixon, who was named Boys and Girls of America 2010 National Youth of the Year and recently met President Barack Obama, sat down with Kaley O'Kelley to share her story of perseverance and explain how the Boys and Girls Club helped her.
Dixon is currently enrolled at Arizona State University working toward a bachelor's degree in business and a master's in international business.
