Memorial service for Tucson victim of doemstic violencePosted: Updated:
Friends and family gathered Sunday to say goodbye to Karla Ember. A Tucson woman who police say was the victim of domestic violence.
People gathered at the Jewish Community Center to honor the 54-year-old as a wonderful friend, sister, mother and music teacher.
Police say she was stabbed to death by Richard Wojcik.
The night she was killed, Ember reportedly called police saying Wojcik was near her home. He had been ordered to stay away.
Wojcik is in jail, charged with first-degree murder.
