DENVER (AP) -- Pinch-hitter Jason Giambi connected for a two-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, and the Colorado Rockies beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-2 on Sunday to extend their winning streak to 10 games.

Jonathan Herrera started the rally when he reached on an error by second baseman Kelly Johnson. Clint Barmes struck out for the second out before Giambi, batting for Dexter Fowler, drove a 1-1 pitch from Sam Demel (1-1) to center for his seventh homer of the season.

Colorado's winning streak is the longest in the NL this season and one game short of the major league best held by the Chicago White Sox and Texas Rangers.

Huston Street (3-4) pitched a perfect ninth for the win.
