PHOENIX (AP) - A boy seated near the Arizona Diamondbacks dugout has been carried away on a stretcher after being struck on the head by a flying bat.
The boy, who was sitting on the third base side of home plate, just beyond the start of the protective netting, was hit on the right side of the head in the fourth inning of Monday's game after San Francisco's Buster Posey lost the bat swinging at a pitch.
