SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a tanning salon and an adult shop in Scottsdale this week.

According to Scottsdale police Sgt. Mark Clark, a man entered the Darque Tan store at 1819 N. Scottsdale Road at 9 p.m. on Wednesday. He displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled the store on foot.

The Scottsdale Police Department released a surveillance video from the robbery.

Police say the same suspect robbed an adult shop the next night.

During that robbery, Clark said a man with a black handgun entered the Fascinations store at 2302 N. Scottsdale Road at approximately 9 p.m. Thursday and demanded money from two female clerks. No customers were present at the time.

The robber fled with cash and merchandise.

Clark said responding officers looked at the store video and saw that it was the same robbery suspect from the nearby tanning salon.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, 30 years old, 6 feet tall, 175 pounds, with brown hair.

Anyone with information about either robbery is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
