There was a violent attack at a Tucson apartment complex.  It happened in front of several witnesses.  One of those witnesses is talking about what she saw.

"I just feel like I could have done more," said the murder witness.  A resident at Bella Vista town homes does not want to be identified because police are still looking for the suspect in a murder she says she witnessed Saturday night. She was sitting on a bench having a cigarette when it all happened.

"I just heard, 'Oh my god, oh my god!  Please stop, please stop, I didn't do anything to you,'" said the witness.

That's when she got up to get a better look and saw one man stabbing another.

The witness walked through the incident, explaining. "I thought he was just hitting him at the time but he pulled him back up and went like this to his chest and then booked it that way so I ran after him to go because his car was parked right there," she said.

According to the witness it happened very fast, but she was able to give police some detailed information.

Sunday, the Tucson Police Department released photos of a potential suspect, captured on a surveillance camera at a nearby Circle K.

Investigators are also looking for a white sedan-- maybe a Toyota-- with California plates.

"The actual stabber didn't say a word, didn't say one thing," said the witness.

The tenant is haunted by the incident that claimed a life so close to her home.  "The kid just collapsed to the ground and soon as you let him go collapsed to the ground and just didn't move since," she said.

The suspect is described as Hispanic or Native American, about 25 to 30-years old. He's between 5'9" to 6'0" tall. If you have information on this case or pictures from the Circle K, call 911 or 88-CRIME.
