Radiothon for medical needs of Tucson childrenPosted: Updated:
The radio waves meet the telephone lines to raise money for Tucson children in desperate need of medical attention.
92.9 The Mountain teamed up with Tucson Medical Center for day one of the "Mountain of Miracles Radiothon".
TMC is home to one of several Children's Miracle Network hospitals across the country. They are medical facilities that help more than 17 million children who suffer from diseases and injuries.
"It is so critical," said Children's Miracle Network Director Erika Grasse. "We fund raise for all the pediatric departments here at Tucson Medical Center."
If you didn't get a chance to make a donation Wednesday, the radiothon goes through Friday at 6 p.m.
