Security concerns prompt Arizona prisoner transferPosted: Updated:
100 inmates are being moved out of the Arizona State Prison in Kingman where three inmates escaped last month.
The Arizona Department of Corrections says the transfers are a result of tighter restrictions on what inmates can be assigned to the prison's minimum and medium security units.
Two of the three escapees were convicted of murder, but were being held in the medium-security unit.
One of them, John McCluskey, remains on the loose.
The department also says the prison had several security flaws that reviews never detected.
