Tucson teen wanted in fatal shooting of stepfatherPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Tucson police say they're searching for a teenage boy in connection with the fatal shooting of his stepfather during a domestic dispute.
Police say 36-year-old Jorge Castillo was found shot to death just after 8 p.m. Wednesday outside a trailer at the Desert Breeze Mobile Home Park.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 16-year-old Angel Marcelino Lerma, who police say is Castillo's stepson.
Investigators have determined that Castillo and Lerma got into an altercation prior to the shooting. During the argument, witnesses say Lerma pulled out a handgun and shot Castillo and then fled the scene.
Police say Lerma has gang affiliations and anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 or 88-Crime.
