Ironwood teacher at center of blame game surrounding student drowning

GLENDALE - A blame game has begun in the wake of a student drowning at Ironwood High School in Peoria.

A teacher assigned to watch over the pool when that student died is on leave from his job, but now he's pointing the finger at the school  and saying codes were violated and lives put at risk.

Tim McKee has been a coach and physical education teacher at Ironwood for nine years and said the district violated regulations that were in place, regulations he never knew existed until it was too late.
