PHOENIX -- A Phoenix police officer was taken to a local hospital after a car crash Tuesday morning.
The collision happened at approximately 10:30 a.m. on a residential street near 16th Street and Broadway Road. The intersection does not have a stop sign or traffic lights.
According to police, the officer was going southbound when his car collided with another car that was going westbound.
The officer's car spun around and slammed into a concrete block wall.
Neither driver was seriously hurt, but the officer went to the hospital as a precaution.
At this time, no citations have been issued.
