Police release sketch of suspect wanted in fatal shooting on I-10

PHOENIX -- Police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted in a fatal shooting on Interstate 10.

Jesus Carrasco, 27, was driving his Ford F-150 pickup truck with his girlfriend and two children at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 1.

While at the intersection of Thomas Road and 83rd Avenue, a verbal altercation ensued between the occupants in the victim’s truck and the driver of a Chevrolet Cavalier.

The car followed Carrasco's vehicle onto eastbound I-10. At approximately 59th Avenue, several shots were fired from the suspect's vehicle and Carrasco was shot and killed.

The suspect is described as a very thin Hispanic man in his mid-20s with a neatly trimmed goatee and sideburns. He was wearing a black hat, black watch and a gray-and-white muscle shirt.

The suspect vehicle is a 2004-2006 black Chevrolet Cavalier. It is a sports-car model with tinted windows and custom rims.
