Phoenix woman reportedly sexually assaulted by neighbor

PHOENIX -- Silent Witness is offering a reward to help find the suspect who sexually assaulted a 28-year-old woman at a Phoenix apartment last month.

The woman was taking trash to the Dumpster at her apartment complex near 12th Street and Mountain View Road at approximately 4:40 a.m. on July 24.

According to a news release from Silent Witness, she noticed a man standing outside his apartment smoking a cigarette and they exchanged greetings.

As she walked back to her apartment, the man reportedly grabbed her, forced her into his apartment and sexually assaulted her.

Authorities said the suspect immediately abandoned his home and job.

The suspect is described as a 34-year-old man, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds. Police have a possible name of Gonzalo Robles-Gutierrez.

Silent Witness is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the suspect.
