Phoenix launches graffiti-fighting app for Droid

Posted: Updated:

PHOENIX -- Does your neighbor have an overgrown yard? Is somebody dumping stuff in the empty lot by your house? Now there's an app for that -- even if you don't have an iPhone.

As Javier Soto explains, this is a Droid app. When it comes to blight throughout the city, all you have to do is point, shoot and send. Phoenix is the first municipality to have this kind of app.

Earlier this summer, the city introduced its free iPhone app, which also allows residents to report blight.

Phoenix residents without iPhones or Droid phones can continue to report blight to Neighborhood Services by e-mail at and by phone at 602-262-7844.
