Arizona leads country in cases of West Nile virus

PHOENIX -- With 50 diagnoses reported throughout the state, Arizona is leading the nation in human cases of West Nile virus.

Three deaths have been reported in Maricopa County so far this year. Now there are new cases of the mosquito-borne popping up in Pinal County.

Graham Briggs from the Pinal County Health Department gives Scott Pasmore the lowdown. As Briggs explains, there was no human West Nile cases in Pinal County last year.
