Police in Glendale investigating man's homicide after he was found stabbed

GLENDALE, Ariz. – Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the murder of a man in Glendale.
Detectives with the Glendale Police Department say they believe the homicide took place sometime between August 1 and August 3.
Officers responded to a house in Glendale on August 3 in the area of 51st and Orangewood Avenues for a welfare check. When police arrived at the home they found the body of a man with stab wounds.
The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Assos Muhammad Nasrullah, who is of Iraqi-Kurdish descent. He lived in Glendale and it is believed he was in the United States since the late 1990s. Police say they believe he often went to East Valley casinos.
