Former state Senate majority leader talks about arrest over SB 1070Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- More than 50 people were arrested in Phoenix Thursday, expressing their opinions as parts of Senate Bill 1070 went into effect.
Alfredo Gutierrez, an Hispanic activist and former state Senate majority leader, was among those taken into custody for trespassing at the federal courthouse.
Gutierrez said he knew he was going to be arrested and that it was planned. He sat down with Scott Pasmore to explain.
