PHOENIX (AP) -- No longer will you have to hold it for miles. The Arizona Department of Transportation has lifted orange traffic cones and barricades on three rest areas.

Now open for business, the Interstate 10 roadside rest near Sacaton south of Phoenix, southbound Canoa Ranch on I-19 and a far western Arizona rest area along Interstate 10 near the California line.

The northbound side of Canoa Ranch will open later this week.

In addition, I-40's Meteor Crater rest area and San Simon on I-10 will reopen as repairs and maintenance issues are finalized.

By July 31, five previously closed rest areas will again be in operation.

ADOT says four more rest areas are expected to reopen this fall.
