Pima County Sheriff's Dept. seeks woman bank robber

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Southern Arizona law enforcement is seeking a woman who robbed a bank Wednesday.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department says the woman bandit entered a Bank of the West located in the 3,000 block of South Kinney Road at 3 p.m. and showed a teller a handgun and demanded money.

She then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is described as white, about 5-feet-6 inches tall and between 60 and 70 years of age.

She was seen driving off in a white 2000 Hyundai Tiburon 2 door coupe with a spoiler and dark tinted windows.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Department or 88-CRIME.
