One of the best softball players in U of A and international history, calling it a career. Jennie finch will walk away from the field at the end of August.
The most recognizable player in the sport, finch starred at Arizona from 1999-2002, putting together a 60-game winning streak and the College World Series Title in 2001.
She went on to shine for the U.S. National team, winning Olympic gold in 2004.
Finch turns 30 in September.
She says she wants to spend more time raising a family, they were together only 2 weeks in the past year.
