Another near drowning in TucsonPosted: Updated:
A 4-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after nearly drowning in front of his family.
It happened just before 3 Sunday afternoon near Houghton and Irvington.
Firefighters say the little boy couldn't swim. He had a face mask on and was holding onto the side of the pool playing, when he stopped breathing. His grandmother pulled him out of the water and started CPR. He was responsive when crews arrived. They transported him to the hospital for observation. This is the 10th near drowning in Pima County so far this year.
