Suspect steals prescription drugs from Chandler Walgreens

CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect who stole prescription drugs from a Chandler Walgreens.

At approximately 8:45 p.m. on July 6, a male suspect robbed the Walgreens pharmacy at Ocotillo and McQueen roads in Chandler.

According to Chandler police Detective David Ramer, the suspect acted as though he had a weapon and threatened to use it while demanding prescription drugs from the pharmacy.

After obtaining the drugs, the suspect fled in a gold or silver sedan.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic or white male in his late teens to early 20s, with a medium build and 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall.

Police released photos from the surveillance cameras.
