1070 Lawsuit hearing rules setPosted: Updated:
Ground rules have been set for Thursday's hearing on Arizona's new immigration law.
A U.S. Dustrict court judge will allow 20 minutes of comments from lawyers debating Governor Jan Brewer's request to throw out the legal challenge to SB 1070 filed by Phoenix Police Officer David Salgado.
Each side will also have 30 minutes to argue over the officer's request to put the law on hold. Officer Salgado's lawyers say federal immigration law will take precedent over state law.
