Chance of thunderstorms on Friday; High of 113Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- We're looking at what could be some of the hottest temperatures of the year over the next few days. An Excessive Heat Warning issued Wednesday remains in effect today and tomorrow, and could be extended through Saturday.
While we do have a chance of late-afternoon or evening storms for the next several days, it's only a very slight chance today and tomorrow and just 20 percent through the weekend.
Plan on a high of 114 degrees today and 115 tomorrow. Overnight lows won't give us too much relief; they'll be hovering right around 92 degrees.
Temperatures will come down a tiny bit Saturday (113) and Sunday (111), and then down to 109 for the beginning of your next work week.
