PHOENIX -- Nearly 35 percent of Arizona's students are not passing the science portion of the AIMS test. State Superintendent of Schools Tom Horne sat down with Kaley O'Kelley to try and explain the statistic.

As Horne explained, the science portion of the test is new and not a requirement for graduation. He said high-school students aren't taking the test seriously.
