New lawsuit against SB 1070 targets training materialsPosted: Updated:
The seventh lawsuit has been filed against Arizona's tough new immigration law, but it's the first ever to target the training materials designed for police officers.
LULAC, or the League of United Latin American Citizens has a problem with the law, and the training materials used to enforce it.
A lawsuit was filed Friday in federal court.
The organization says the instructions, are "vague and ill-defined and will lead to widespread racial profiling and discrimination."
Former phoenix police sergeant, Andy Hill, spoke out about the lawsuit, "By themselves they don't... do the job right."
