Betty Barr, Stradling-Bowman History Room, on Monday talks about working with longtime area cattle rancher Bob Bowman in putting together his archive collection.  She says it includes oral histories of area pioneer families, news clippings covering the past 50 years, vintage photographs and memorabilia. She says the project, in Pioneer Hall at the Fairgrounds in Sonoita, was funded by local donations through the non-profit Anne Stradling Equine Foundation. Tuesday, Barr discusses Anne Stradling, who owned the Museum of the Horse in Patagonia and donated it just before her death to the Hubbard Museum of the American West in Ruidoso, New Mexico.  Barr says the Stradling Foundation has an agreement with that museum to borrow items for display in the History Room. Local western and cowboy artifacts are featured, she says.
