PHOENIX – A serious wreck tied up traffic on a Valley freeway for hours but both adults and children involved were uninjured.

Traffic was backed up for miles Monday afternoon due to the serious wreck involving three vehicles.

The rollover crash took place on the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 at 19th Avenue.

At least two vehicles landed on their tops. 3TV has learned one of the cars involved may have been leaking fuel.

A spokesperson with the Department of Public Safety tells 3TV three cars "bounced" off of each other. Both a minivan and a work  truck came to rest upside down on the freeway, shutting down three lanes of the highway.

DPS reports six people were involved in the crash. Two of those in the vehicles were children. The crash is still being investigated to determine a cause.
