Glendale police looking for bank robbery suspect covered in red dye

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Glendale police are looking for a bank robber who left a Compass Bank near 57th Avenue and Bell Road with an undisclosed amount of money.

According to Glendale police, a white male entered the bank Friday and gave tellers a note indicating he was robbing the branch.

The bank robbery suspect was given a packet of money and left the bank. Witnesses reported they saw the packet explode and cover the suspect's hands with red dye.

The suspect is described as a white male, 35 to 40 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, dark hair and a scar on his right cheek.

He fled the area of the Compass Bank and police are still looking for him.
