PHOENIX – A shift supervisor at a local drug store was taken into custody and faces child pornography charges.

Detectives with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Brown, 49, following a search of his Phoenix home after deputies served a warrant at his house near 17th Street and Union Hills Drive.

Brown is reportedly a shift supervisor at the CVS Pharmacy located in the 16000 block of east Palisades in Fountain Hills.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio says, “This is such a sad situation, living in Fountain Hills I frequently shop at this very store and I will never tolerate this type of behavior.”

Detectives received information from a CVS manager from the same store after that manager allegedly found pornographic images at a photo kiosk inside the store. All of the individuals in the photos were reportedly under the age of 14.

More charges are expected to be filed against Brown. MCSO’s investigation remains ongoing.
