PHOENIX -- Phoenix police detectives arrested two people reportedly involved in a string of burglaries.

Police believe that Jeffery Pfeiffer, 29, and Daphne Nichols, 28, were actively involved in burglaries of homes and vehicles in the area of 64th Street and Indian School Road in Phoenix.

Phoenix police Sgt. Steve Martos said the suspects used credit cards taken during the robberies to make a number of unauthorized purchases throughout the city.

Detectives located a large quantity of stolen property inside the suspects' apartment. Some of the property has yet to be claimed by any victim. According to Martos, those items include construction tools, firearms, sporting equipment and other personal effects.

Because of the quantity of unclaimed property, anyone who was a victim of a burglary, resides in the area, and did not report the crime is asked to contact the Phoenix Police Department.

Pfeiffer and Nichols have been booked on numerous felony charges, including taking the identity of another, credit card theft, and possession of dangerous drugs.
