Tucson Police searching for additional suspects in deadly beer run

A beer run on Tucson's east side Wednesday morning led to the death of 37-year-old Henry Dennison, after his pickup flipped into a ditch.

Now police are trying to hunt down three people in the truck with Dennison who ran from the scene.

What started as a robbery early Wednesday morning for a couple of cases of beer at a Circle K near Prudence and 22nd ended on Langley Avenue just west of Kolb with a truck in a ditch.

"The driver lost control of his vehicle, ended up in the wash where the vehicle rolled over pinning the driver in the vehicle," says Sgt. Fabian Pacheco of the Tucson Police Department.

Witnesses say after the truck flipped, three people got out of it and ran down the ditch leaving one man behind.

And TPD was utilizing an array of resources to track them down, blood hounds, helicopters and countless officers were scouring the area. "All this because they decided to go into a Circle K and steal some beer," says Pacheco.

Police are looking for one man and two women, all could be facing multiple charges because of their decision to run from the crash.

"Any charges they could be facing from the robbery at the Circle K, that's some additional charges as well."

Police are looking for three suspects matching the following descriptions: A Hispanic or Native American man, 25 to 30 years of age, 5' 10" tall and 160 pounds.   He wore a dark green shirt with vertical stripes, blue jeans shorts and a red baseball cap.    Both women are Hispanic, between 20 and 25 years-old, about 5'5" and 140 pounds.

Anyone with information should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
