2 Suspects wanted in robbery, assault of customer at Phoenix convenience store

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are searching for two suspects who robbed and assaulted a man at a convenience store.

According to Phoenix police Detective Mike Fischer, three men followed a customer out of a Circle K near 48th Street and Broadway Road shortly before 4 p.m. on June 10.

Fischer said one of the suspects asked for a cigarette and the 28-year-old victim took one out of his wallet. One suspect then took the man's wallet and they all ran toward a blue Chevy Blazer.

Fischer said the victim reached into the suspects' vehicle and removed the keys from the ignition then was assaulted by the three men.

One suspect, Donte Villanueva, 22, was identified and arrested and the other two fled the area on foot with the victim's wallet.

One suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and 150 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt with "Hustler" on the front and a black hat over a do-rag. He had tattoos on his neck and forearms.

The other suspect was a black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a red T-shirt with white letters and a gold chain with a large cross.
