PHOENIX - The Arizona Cardinals restricted free agent guard Deuce Lutui signed his one-year qualifying offer on Monday.

Lutui's one year deal is work $1.759 million. He was the last of the Cardinals restricted free agent to sign their tender to remain with the team in hopes of negotiating a long-term contract extension.

Lutui has started every game for the past two seasons. He was hoping for a long-term contract but the Cardinals made it clear that was not going to happen.

The guard entering his fifth season may have lost his starting job during his absence. The Cardinals signed free agent Alan Faneca and put him at left guard and moved Reggie Wells to Lutui's right guard spot.

Lutui, who skipped the team's minicamp and voluntary workouts, signed the offer after switching agents.
