Suspect at large after robbing Chase bank branch in Chandler

CHANDLER, Ariz. – Police in Chandler need the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a bank.

Police say the suspect walked into a Chase bank branch located on 1080 W. Chandler Boulevard on Wednesday at about 4:30 p.m. He reportedly told the teller they were being robbed.

The man fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash. Witnesses did not see a getaway vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s with a medium build standing about 6 feet tall.

At the time of the robbery the suspect was unshaven and was wearing large sunglasses, dark dress slacks and shoes and black shoulder-length hair in dreadlocks. He was also wearing a white striped button-down shirt and a green suede jacket.

Anyone with information on the suspect or his whereabouts is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
