TEMPE, Ariz. – Silent Witness has increased the amount of reward money offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects involved in an ASU student’s death.

There is now an $11,000 cash reward for any information that results in the indictment of the suspects involved in 21-year-old Kyleigh Ann Sousa’s death.

Sousa was dragged by the suspect’s car on May 26 after someone tried to steal her purse and she held on outside a Tempe IHOP location.

She died days later at the hospital as a result of the severe injuries she suffered during the burglary attack.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a silver Chrysler 300 or Dodge Charger. The suspect who grabbed Sousa’s purse is described as a heavy-set Hispanic man in his mid 20s.
