Man with bandages on his face robs Scottsdale bank

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Scottsdale bank Tuesday morning.

According to Scottsdale police, a man with bandages on his face entered the Northern Trust Bank near Pinnacle Peak and Pima roads at approximately 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and gave a teller a demand note that said he had a gun.

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled on foot, running east through the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s or early 50s, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 185 to 200 pounds with brown hair.

He was wearing a long-sleeved button-down shirt, blue jean shorts, tennis shoes and a dark baseball cap with a logo.
