GLENDALE – It seems as though the Phoenix Coyotes will stay in the Valley.

On Tuesday night the Glendale City Council unanimously approved a proposal from Ice Edge Holdings, which wants to buy the team and keep them in Glendale.

For months the team's future has been uncertain as the team tried to find a new owner.

There was some talk of the Coyotes relocating to Canada but now the National Hockey League will get the final say.

Commissioner Gary Bettman has said he wants the Coyotes to stay in Arizona.
