Over 300 firefighters have been battling the Horseshoe wildfire for over a week now. It's burning in the Coronado National Forest -- east of the town of Portal.

Flames have charred a little over 2,300 acres. The fire is still only 25% contained. It could take firefighters at least a week to contain it.

Four people have been injured.

There are residences, watersheds, and wilderness threatened by the flames.
