High of 103 on Thursday and slow cool down by the weekendPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- While we can't exactly call this weekend's temperatures cool, they will be much cooler than this past weekend -- by about 15 degrees.
Plan on another toasty day with a high of 107 degrees under sunny skies. The good news is that's not high enough to spawn a heat warning. That is, however, still about 5 degrees above average for this time of year.
That high is going to be dropping over the next few days. Overnight lows will be coming down, as well.
By this Friday, our daytime high should be back in the double digits, and then mid-90s for Saturday Sunday.
Don't forget, the monsoon is right around the corner. The season officially started on Tuesday, June 15.
On Monday, The Forecasters -- Royal Norman, April Warnecke and Brittney Shipp -- will have everything you need to know to be ready for it. 3TV's Monsoon Special air Monday at 6:30 p.m.
