Victim not cooperating with police in wake of drive-by shooting in MaryvalePosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are searching for the suspects in a late-night drive-by shooting in Maryvale, but the victim reportedly is not cooperating.
It happened at about 10:30 Monday night.
Officers in the neighborhood said they heard at least 10 shots. Detectives still on the scene in the area of 75th Avenue and Indian School Road Tuesday morning said they have found more than 25 shell casings.
It's not clear where the victim was at the time of the shooting, but he was hit in the leg. His injury reportedly was not life threatening. He is in the hospital. Investigators say he is not cooperating with them.
Officers said they have been to the home before. Detectives obtained a search warrant and were searching the home in an effort to try and determine exactly what happened.
