PHOENIX – Police captured three men suspected of committing a strong-arm robbery Saturday at a bank in north Phoenix.
Officers say the suspects went into the Comerica located near Happy Valley and Interstate 17 and took off with an unknown amount of cash.
After the robbery the suspects fled the scene in a car. When a motorcycle officer was able to close in on them, they parked the getaway car and ran off.
A helicopter patrol led police to the suspects who dropped the money along the way. They are now in custody.
