Code Talker Lemuel Yazzie dies

Posted: Updated:

Here's a face some may remember although he was known more for his voice than his name.  Lemuel Yazzie was a Navajo Code Talker during WW II. Code talkers were recruited by the U.S. Marine Corps during the war to transmit messages in code using their native Navajo language -- which helped throw off the Japanese. Yazzie died Friday at his home in Whitecone, Arizona. He was 91.
