Wildcats and Volunteers on Thursday on day one of the Women's College World series from Oklahoma City and it'll be a bigger stadium-- not capacity but distance-- fences in left and right field have been moved back ten feet and upped by two feet.
Although that's not likely to bother teams like the Wildcats and Hawaii who can hit homers as big as any team in the country.
Teams combined to smash the series record last year by scoring 120 runs. The walls now 200 feet from home plate in the corners and six feet tall around the outfield. Coach Candrea, nonetheless, welcoming his ladies to action city.
